1. Parties and scope
This Service Agreement applies when you request an estimate or book a visit through our website, phone, email, or messaging. “Customer” means the person requesting service; “Provider” means Fastest Handyman.
This agreement supplements any written quote, text confirmation, or invoice we issue for your specific project.
2. "Work First, Pay After" policy
Fastest Handyman follows a "Work First, Pay After" payment policy for typical residential and light commercial handyman and painting jobs in Los Angeles.
Under this policy: (a) we provide a written estimate or quote with agreed scope and price before work begins; (b) requesting an estimate, approving a quote, or booking a visit does not require payment in advance; (c) we perform the agreed work; (d) payment is due when the job is completed and you have had a reasonable opportunity to review the finished work, unless your written quote states otherwise.
A deposit or partial payment before work may only be requested for exceptional circumstances — such as large custom material orders — and will be clearly disclosed in your quote or written confirmation before you approve the job.
3. Estimates and pricing
Estimates are based on information and photos you provide. Final price may change if on-site conditions differ materially from what was described. We will communicate material changes before proceeding when possible.
Unless your written quote states otherwise, payment is due when the job is completed — not before work begins, in line with our Work First, Pay After policy.
4. Service limitations
We provide handyman and painting services within our stated capabilities. We do not perform work requiring a licensed electrician or plumber unless explicitly agreed and performed by appropriately licensed personnel.
5. Scheduling
Requested visit times submitted online are requests, not guaranteed appointments, until we confirm. We may reschedule due to weather, access issues, or safety concerns.
6. Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to work areas, disclose known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, structural issues), and secure pets and valuables. Delays caused by lack of access may incur additional charges.
